I know what you mean Lat, I file those first two chapters where going on for ever, I am near the end of chapter 4 "Fear and loathing" but this constant linearity is incredibly annoying, I hope it isnt going to be like this all the way through, if it is I will be REALLY disappointed.

It wont be until chapter Eleven until you get to do the more traditional free roam stuff. Depending on how quickly you go through the chapters you'll be there at about the 27 hour mark.

Enjoy your standard def, complete lack of anti-aliasing, compression artifacts, blurry backgrounds, and of course having 3 discs.

I'll enjoy my superior PS3 version.

That said, £60 for the collectors edition is ridiculous, the extras aren't THAT great.

Because we all know that anti-aliasing, high definition and a lack of compression artifacts & blurry backgrounds is what makes a videogame good, right? Right? Because all the best games have all of those features. All the games pre 360/PS3 are **** for exactly this reason.

Also, I don't care about FF at all. Just posting to lol at Unsp and to remind people that we do have a spoiler tag, if any of you want to discuss storyline or whatever - [spoiler ] and [/ spoiler]. Without the spaces, obviously.

To be honest I don’t really care about spoilers, in fact knowing a bit more about what’s coming up makes you want to get there more and even if you do know what’s coming up your still going to play it

It is reaaally linear isn't it? But y'know, so was FF10 for large parts (ie, between towns)... It's not bothering me so much.
Now Vanille, Vanille is bothering me. Even Selphie wasn't THAT herpaderp-sunshine-and-rainbows. Seriously hope she gets some character development later on to make her more likeable.
(Also, when controlling her, if you swoop the camera just right, you can see her asscheeks - is she... not wearing panties, or are they just tiny panties?)

Haha! Hope is a little prick, hence why I don't use him after chapter 9 BUT you have to use him on Chapter 11 to get his Eidolon which **** me right off.

but as a first time Final Fantasy player i'm liking it so far =D

Yep hope reminds me of Emo Git (Squall) in fact if you haven't seen the FF8 review by the Spoony one then you have to here:

it starts at the bottom of page 3 and works backwards trust me it's well worth it especially when you can learn about A whore and her anal reverse (You will understand when you get to part 6or was it 7)
