Welcome to Kitacon!
Kitacon is a UK anime convention taking place in the Birmingham Hilton Metropole. After running it's second sell-out event in 2010, the convention returns for 2011!
A full range of activities will be on offer including parties, live acts straight from Japan, Cosplay, Voice Actors, Panels, Gaming, Merchandise and of course 24hr screenings throughout the event.

Happiness is a convention called Kitacon.
In other news, Kitacon is "hiring"! I say hiring. From June 1st to July 1st Kitacon will be accepting applications for new committee members, you won't get paid. We don't either. But you will be involved in what we think is the best convention in the UK, Kitacon strives to make its event innovative and exciting every year and in order to keep up with our rapid expansion we need new committee to help ensure that we maintain that fantastic quality you've grown to love.

Look at how streamlined it is! Hooray! We're still filling pages with content and getting forms online! If you have any problems using the site, or spot any mistakes or broken links, please let us know on the forum or by email!
We're still in the process of organising some awesome things for our next convention so stay tuned for announcements regarding events, guests and further convention details!
In the mean time, we can announce that the Hilton room rates have been negotiated down to £65 for a single room per night and £75 for a double room per night. We believe this is excellent value, considering the very high quality of the venue. These rates are only available through us and we'll soon have the booking system in place for you to book your rooms ASAP! We'll let you all know when this is available, it should be very soon! We'll be adding more venue information to our venue page for you to check out the facilities and get directions.

Before we've even finished Kitacon 2, we're ready to go for another year! After barely recovering from Kitacon 2 we're ready to do it all over again! Kitacon 3 is running at the Hilton Metropole hotel in Birmingham, from the 1st-3rd April 2011!
Registrations are already OPEN! So go sign up straight away! The prices are the same as Kitacon 2, only £45 for three whole days packed full of entertainment. If you've just got back from Kitacon 2 you'll know just how good value this is! You will need to log into the website, before you can fill in your details. Online payment options will be presented to you once you sign up for fast and easy registration!
We're working on getting you even more fantastic guests so expect announcements very shortly!
Kitacon 2011 will be bigger and better than the first, with brand new events and much improved older events with a touch of our special brand of magic (don't be rude!). Keep an eye on this front page, the forums and our social networking sites for all the latest information about the con!
