Introduction
Hi there, if you are wondering where you are, you have reached the Kitacon homepage.
Kitacon is a brand new UK anime convention that will take place in Northampton.
Kitacon is a convention run by fans for fans. Some of the older fans out there will
remember our venue from previous years past, so it offers a little nostalgia and some fond memories.
To those new to the con experience it offers the ideal place to start, after all
most of us began in Northampton and have never looked back. Be you young, old, a
hard core fan or a newbie, with a capacity of 600 we offer a place for all.
The convention will be held over the last weekend of the 2009 Easter holidays,
April 17th to the 19th at the Park Inn Hotel Northampton.
The venue can be found only a 5 minute walk from the train station and
with easy access to the M1 motorway. Directions and photos can be found
in the Venue section of the website. A full range of activities will be
on offer including parties, panels, games, dealers room and of course
regular anime showings throughout the day and night, plus a few events
we are keeping under wraps for now.
So as you can see Kitacon has a lot to offer. Please join the forum to
chat and make friends or query us about the convention.

We are proud to announce the launch of registrations for Kitacon 2009. Tickets cost a great £40 for the whole event which we believe is great value for three days of anime entertainment!

12th, March 2008: Competition Time
We here at Kitacon are to be launching a design a mascot competition,
with registrations opening soon we realized we've not got a mascot to speak of.
So this is where you guys come in, we're challenging convention attendees to design the
Kitacon mascot. Anything goes as long as it is not too ecchi, we need two designing one for
over 18 badges and one for the under 18 badges. Good luck to all entrants and there will
